Dog Ornament Collab with Zoomies

11/15 • 3pm • 1.5 Hr Handbuilding Workshop: Join us for a hands-on ceramic ornament workshop where you’ll design and create your very own keepsake ornament inspired by your dog. This workshop is in collaboration with Cafe Zoomies, a dog cafe for people and pets. How it works: 1.) Join us at Clay Parlor's Handbuilding Studio on November 15 at 3pm to make your ornament. No pets allowed at the workshop. Workshop details below. Each student can choose to do 1 or 2 ornaments. For more than one person, you must purchase additional participants. 2.)Choose your glaze options for your ornaments. Clay Parlor crew will fire and glaze your creations...which takes a few weeks. 3.)Pick up your ornaments at Cafe Zoomies about 3 weeks after your workshop(you will be notified when they are ready). Bring your dog along and enjoy a Pup Cup with essential protein topping included in the cost of your workshop. WORKSHOP DETAILS: Get festive making these beautiful dog ornaments. Using cookie cutters and carving tools, you will learn how to take a flat slab of clay to make your own ornaments. You can choose between 1 or 2 ornaments. You can choose from our large assortment of cookie cutters to cut out and create your own composition. You will receive our tips and tricks for carving and decorating your ornaments. At the end of class, choose your glaze. Instructor will be glazing ornaments after they are fired. In this class, we use a beautiful speckled tan clay with your choice of glaze. Ornaments get slow dried , fired and then glazed after class and will be available to pick up about 3 weeks later. PICK UP AT ZOOMIES: Once ornaments are ready, you will be notified they are ready to pick up at Cafe Zoomies 1410 E Main St, Ventura, CA 93001 Bring your dog along for a date with your pup Included in your workshop is a Pup Cup (Lactose free frozen yogurt) with 1 Essential Protein Topping available at pick-up Cafe Zoomies is a dog cafe for people and their pets. They specialize in custom organic dog treats and a social environment where you can have a date with your dog. They also have bottled drinks and snacks available for humans too! Ages 12+ Long nails make working with clay difficult and frustrating. Please trim your nails close before class. Clay can be messy. Please dress accordingly and bring an apron if desired.
