Service Description

Join us for a beginner friendly pottery wheel class and make your own Ikebana flower arranging vessel! All levels welcome, no experience necessary. This is a great class for beginners or anyone who just wants a refresher on the basics. Make your own wheel-thrown masterpieces step-by-step instruction. Learning to throw on the wheel is challenging, fun, and even relaxing! At the end of class, learn how to use high-fire wire to create a flower frog that is built into your pots. After the class, your instructor will glaze and fire your artwork. Pieces will be fired and ready for studio pick up within 3–4 weeks. Ages 12+ Long nails make working with clay difficult and frustrating. Please trim your nails close before class. Clay can be messy...we strongly encourage you to bring an apron and towel.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule, please contact admin@clayparlor.com 4 days before class. Instagram IG is not a suitable way to contact. I staff and purchase materials for scheduled classes based on their capacity. We do not refund cancelled or rescheduled classes. You are awarded full class credit toward a future class if cancelled 4 days or before. If cancelling or rescheduling within the 4 day period, no class credit can be given.
