JAN Kids Pottery Wheel: Thursday

Service Description

Learn how to make your own mugs, bowls and planters in this 4 week pottery wheel class built for middle and high school age kids. We will learn how to center on the pottery wheel and create different forms, how to trim our pottery and attach handles and feet, and how to decorate using colored slips and carving. Students will learn to glaze their own pottery in week 4. Finished pottery will be available to pick up 2 weeks after class. All materials are included. We ask that you bring an apron and a towel for you lap and hands, trim nail and have long hair tied back. Students are not eligible for outside practice time. No rescheduling will be available for missed days so please make sure you can attend all sessions prior to signing up.
