Service Description
8/24 • Create your own Sushi Boat and Soy Sauce Dishes in this beginner friendly, 1.5 hour handbuilding workshop. In this class, you will learn how to take flat slabs of clay, cut and fold them into dishes similar to an origami technique. In this class, we use a beautiful speckled tan clay with a glaze of your choosing. Instructor glazes and fires your creations after class. It takes several weeks to slow dry, fire, glaze and re-fire these pieces. Platters are available for pick-up 3-4 weeks after class at our POTTERY WHEEL Location. Ages 12+ Long nails make working with clay difficult and frustrating. Please trim your nails close before class. Clay can be messy. Please dress accordingly and bring an apron if desired.

No refunds are given. You may receive full credit toward a future class if you cancel 4 days prior to give us enough time to fill your space. To cancel or reschedule, please visit our contact page on our website and select RE:cancel/reschedule 4 days before class. Instagram IG is not a suitable way to contact. Please do not email to cancel. It is easier for your requests to be seen if they are all in one place. I staff and purchase materials for scheduled classes based on their capacity. We do not refund cancelled or rescheduled classes. You are awarded full class credit toward a future class if cancelled 4 days or before. If cancelling or rescheduling within the 4 day period, no class credit can be given.
