for a 2 hour Pottery Wheel Experience

Private Pottery Wheel Class

Join us for a 2-hour private pottery wheel workshop where you'll experience the fun and challenging art of wheel throwing with hands-on instruction from start to finish. Most students create 2-4 pieces during the session, focusing on small cups and bowls—mugs on the pottery wheel are a multi-day process and are not practical for a 1 time class. At the end of your workshop, you'll select glazes for all your creations, and our team will handle the trimming, firing, and glazing process over the following 4 weeks until your finished pottery is ready for pickup. This workshop is suitable for students ages 12 and up, and all tools and materials are included. We welcome you to bring drinks and snacks, though please keep it modest as our studio space is cozy. To ensure the best experience, we recommend bringing an apron and hand towel, trimming long nails beforehand, and tying back long hair.

Our pottery wheel classes can accommodate up to 8 people.

Private Handbuilding Class

Join us for a private handbuilding workshop where you'll experience the zen of creating a custom project with your crew. Handbuilding ceramics is working with clay on a table, working with clay slabs, coils or pinch pots. Choose a project for your group and get hands-on instruction from start to finish in creating a beautiful handmade piece of pottery. Our most popular handbuilding projects are mugs, monstera leaves, altars, incense holders and candle vessels. Please see our gallery below. Most projects take between 1-2 hrs, depending on which you choose. If you would like to do something custom, please reach out with your thoughts. At the end of your workshop, you'll select glazes for all your creations, and our team will handle the firing and glazing process over the following 4 weeks until your finished pottery is ready for pickup. These workshops are generally suitable for students ages 12 and up, but this is negotiable and project dependent. All tools and materials are included. We welcome you to bring drinks and snacks, though please keep it modest as our studio space is cozy. To ensure the best experience, we recommend bringing an apron and hand towel, trimming long nails beforehand, and tying back long hair.
